The Implication of ASEAN Joint Commodity Approach to the Philippine Coconut Industry

The study evaluated the implications of the three ASEAN Joint Commodity Approaches which are the Integrated Commodity Agreement (ICA), the Commodity Fund, and the Stabilization of Export Earnings (STABEX) to the Philippine coconut industry. These approaches were deemed necessary to boost and stabilize export prices and earnings as well as improve market access for the coconut products.

Isolation and Identification of Bacteria from Tuba and Lambanog Toddy

If pure cultures of bacteria are available, the fermentation process could be hastened and time for starting tuba and lambanog toddy before marketing could be reduced. The isolation and identification of bacteria associated with tuba and lambanog toddy can shed light on the nature and extent of biochemical reactions performed by these microorganisms in the production of these beverages.

Communication Patterns and Behavior of Coconut Farmers in Quezon Province
